Life Class #4: The Two Sides of Contentment with Guest Nancy Ray



  1. Consider a fast from something.  Something that may be a heart issue for you right now.  Use the suggestions made in todays class as a guide. 
  2. Start a gratitude journal for the next 90 days.  3 things each day, no repeats and try to write something that happened within the last 24 hours giving you a chance to reflect on present day goodness.
  3. Ask yourself, "what steps do I need to take right now in this season of life to be in a place of peacefully reaching?" Nancy explains peacefully reaching in today's class. 
  4. Reflect on the question, "what are my eyes on?" 
  5. Consider the free contentment challenge led by Nancy.

Shunta and Nancy, thank you so much for this wonderful class! I realized, as I was watching today, that this coronavirus situation has given me a bit of a forced fast from one of my favorite things: traveling. As of today, it’s been 12 weeks since I last spent the night outside of my house….and that is by far the longest stretch in a very, very long time. So I took some time to re-frame this and find the gratitude in it. I’ve been able to clean out my closet, which I’ve wanted to do for months. I even organized my clothes by color like my sister! I’ve of course had extra time with my family, which is a blessing before my sister goes to college this fall and I get married and move out next spring. Just reflecting on these few months has been a nice change of pace. Thank you for the thought-provoking questions!
